This policy describes how Clear Ether LLC (“Clear Ether,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with clear-ether.com (the “Site”). The short version: this Site is informational, we don’t ask you to create an account, and we collect as little as possible.
Information you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include — your email address, your name if you sign it, and the contents of your message. We use it to respond and to conduct business you ask us to conduct.
Technical information. Like most websites, the infrastructure that serves this Site (including our hosting and content-delivery providers, such as Cloudflare) automatically processes standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security, performance, and to keep the Site working. Web fonts are served by Fontshare, which receives the technical request data needed to deliver them.
Cookies and tracking. The Site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we later add analytics, this policy will be updated to say what is collected and by whom.
We use the information above to operate and secure the Site, respond to inquiries, and carry out client engagements. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except with service providers who help us run the Site and our business, or where required by law.
Email correspondence is kept as long as needed for the purpose it was sent, and for reasonable business record-keeping afterward. Technical logs are retained according to our infrastructure providers’ standard practices.
